delon
Hello fellow Hackintoshers, I succesfully managed to install OSX (Yosemite 10.10.1) on my laptop (Asus K95VJ). I got everything working: Graphics, Audio and all but i cant seem to get the bootloader working. Tried Chameleon standard and EFI even Clover and tried to install it after installation with a .pkg but still not luck. It would be nice if someone could help me with this and i prefer chameleon cause i know how it works. The weird thing is that if i look in te Extra folder the "org.chameleon.boot.plist" is there with all <key> commands i've choosen it will boot of the Yosemite Zone USB but when i try it without i get: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key. I am too far to give up now so help would be appreciated. (Specs of laptop: i7 3630qm, 8GB ram, intel hd 4000/nvidia gt635m) Regards,
WaldMeister
Hi, Yosemite Zone can not be supported, it has too many options, and guessing what you selected and troubleshooting it is a no go. I'm love Chris his work, since he provides easy solutions, although i will never use them myself. I think this topic can help you: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301138-os-x-yosemitechameleon-r2399/?p=2064388 I still prefer Pandora: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302220-pandoras-box-20-candidate-3-roll-out/
