Can't boot iatkos S3 v2 from 500gb hdd

I'm a new poster here....

 

I've installed Snow Leopard on my hp530, and it'll boot and run fine as long as I have the DVD in the drive. It requires the dvd to see the hard drive, I can select either dvd or hdd at boot and all is fine. 

 

However, I want to boot from the hdd only, I installed the system as follows.

However if I go to Chameleon Installer in Tools and try to install that way, it says permission denied. I'm lost, Help!!
