The big thanks from Georgia, you're genius Chriss,

Follow your instruction and this is what I get

23799422480_ba07c35e10_z.jpg

My hardware list:

- Dell Precision T5400

- 16GB DDR2 RAM

- Geforce 740 SC

- 120GB SSD

But I still have another question, I'm using NIC D-Link DGE-530T more detail here with driver for Mac files included (I attached in this reply). I run the driver file and restart my computer, I have had "Not Connected" status in Ethernet. How can I fix it?

Any help will be appreciated,

Ok I see this for you  :)  I think you need Graphics fix also because  GT 740 0 mb  :angel_not:

Ok for the Network you can try this Driver Instal with kext wizad on System/Library/Extensions

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/287161-new-driver-for-realtek-rtl8111/

but remove the previous one AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext

On   /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns

Happy new year  :D

Yes you need the Web driver

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96651/en-us

and dont reboot because you need to adjust the config.plist

EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist

Open with textedit and ad this Argument

nvda_drv=1

Now its look like this

<key>Arguments</key>

<string>dart=0 kext-dev-mode=1 rootless=0 nvda_drv=1</string>

and Graphics you need
NVidia
false

<key>ATI</key>
<false/>
<key>Intel</key>
<false/>
<key>NVidia</key>
<false/>

save  Closed

Reboot

Yeah, these are what I did, I hope it help you finger out the root of cause

- Downloaded and run driver file from Nvidia website, but not reboot

- Downloaded and run Mount EFI disk 0 link here to open EFI file

- Open config file, edit as your instruction, save, exit and reboot

- It shows exactly hardware name.

But sometimes system frozen, can move the mount but system not respond to do anything

Any help will be appreciated,

Try to Desactivate the Web driver

Remove nvda_drv=1

Just for test

Reboot

First of all, thank you chris1111 for all your work.

Second, im very new to this process.
As of now, I have a precision 690, evga GTX660 SC, 8gb of DDR3, 120gb SSD, macbook running osx 10.8 and a 16gb USB stick.

From what I've read, (which i could be mistaking), I can use clover to generated a USB installer to install Yosemite on my precision 690.
Is as straight forward as:

1. updating bios and adjusting settings
2. generate installer USB stick
3. modify EFI / CLOVER / config.plist <key>NVidia</key> <false/> (for GTX 660 SC)
4. install OSX from USB stick
5. run Clover post install?

Have I missed any major steps?

Chriss, I have a minor request. How can I set for my Hackintosh boot direct to  Mac OS X without clover menu?

@phllubonmat Set timeout to 0 in config.plist

Great news for Dell  Precision 690 Howner   :thumbsup_anim:

I bought a Star Tec PCI Express SATA Controller Card 2 Port SATA 6 Gbps

Available here

http://www.amazon.ca/Startech-Com-Port-Express-Controller-PEXSAT32/dp/B003GS8VA4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451664722&sr=8-1&keywords=pexsat32

Native support with Generic AHCI Controler   :D

Yosemite and El Capitan  :w00t:

Now my two SSD works with SATA 6 gig  :yes:  :D

The SSD is bootable same thing like the other SATA port  :)

Chris,

I bought exactly PCI Express SATA you have. System shows "no sign" when booting up. Do I have to do anything?

Go in bios /infoPCI

Tell me if the drive (card) is there

Edit*******

Me on PCI INFO I have Slot7  MAS STORAGE
