Weird, ok try to fix caches with DPCIManager, make sure your config.plist got Devices > Audio > Inject 3 and UseIntelHDMI, make sure you have the patches in KextstoPaltch section (Audio = 3 patches, HDMI = 1 patch, 4 patches in total). Reinstall the kexts (AtivHDA and CodecCommander) and reboot 2 to 3 times and fix caches each time!

Open System Preferences > Sound > Show in the top bar and play feedback on sound change

I went and clean install el capitan twice and both fixes all the issues i had. sound works and stay working after sleeps. Thanks for the guides.

For those whose annoyed by the unsafe dismount of microsd or usb. this app "MOUNTAIN" willl unmount before sleep and mount after.

Download Mobile Partner from Huawei.

Right click on mobile partner app, show package content

Go to Contents/Ressources/MobilePartner.mpkg and show package content

Go to Contents/Packages and install:

MobileConnectDriver.pkg

What version of MobileConnectDriver.pkg are you using? Your download link is not working anymore

actually I get this:

http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/mobile-broadband/e3131-en.htm

No newer version of mobile connect.

Also, mobile connect is not the issue.

I think you have to remove your sim/3G card, reboot, insert it, then connect to your network.

But your card seems to not responding so the driver crashes (exit).

maybe remove and add the interface, also reinstall mobile connect can do the tricks !

Nothing helps... I thought maybe the pin of the sim card is the reason (I disabled the pin), but no luck. I have no ideas anymore. On windows the 3g modem works fine

scrolling,microphone and webcams working?

AFAIK, Webcams are working, the only problem is scrolling which needs a fully rewritten for the trackpad, and it may even fix the blinking led on docking. Too bad there isn't anyone with sufficient time and experience or even the device to make this work. :(

For the 3G driver : http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=54976&version=174669&siteCode=worldwide

try it and give feedback, I tried an earlier version and did nothing, and ATM I don't have much space to spare on OS X on my tablet :/ Please do us a favor and try it out, any problems, reboot into recoveryhd OR safe mode, remove the kext, fix caches and reboot normal.

Try this:

Remove your sim card

Uninstall mobile connect

Reboot

Install mobile connect

Reboot

Insert sim card

Please, post your network config used on Windows and Mac.

Did you get it worked under Mac ?

Hi,

I get this error when I try to dump the DSDT:

ACPI Error: [APSN] Namespace lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20141107/dswload-451)
ACPI Exception: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20141107/psobject-305)

Could not parse external ACPI tables, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS

I searched for duplicates but the .aml file sizes are all different.

This is the whole output I get in terminal:

I wanted to try dumping in Linux but i have trouble booting Linux from the USB3 port and I don't have the Keyboard dock which is USB2 I think.

Thanks for your help

EDIT: I've managed to boot Linux and dump the DSDT but i got a lot of errors when i compile the DSDT after patching in MaciASL. I think I have to update the BIOS first.

You can dump from clover. Choose your hard disk to boot, then press F4. Wait and boot.

You Will find dsdt.aml and ssdt in efi/acpi/original

Compiling dsdt don't Matter of your bis version !

The issue is about, maybe, the version tool for compilation in maciasl (4 or 5).

Use 4.

Cheers !

Hi!

I have a Samsung XE700T1C-A02DE. I followed the guide, prepared the thumb drive and it boots up.
The only problem I am facing: Beachball of Death!

Contents of my thumb drive:
  • Mac OS X El Capitan Installer
  • Clover v2.3k  r3354
  • FakeSMC.kext, HFSPlus.efi and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi

If I boot with -v argument, I see following lines
FakeSMC v6.9.1315 CopyRight 2014 netkas, slice, usr-sse2, kozlek, navi, THe KiNG, RehabMan. All rights reserved.
FakeSMC: 13 preconfigured keys added
FakeSMC: 5 keys exported by CloverEFI
SMC: successfully initialized
...
(about 3 minutes later)
...
AppleLMUController::checkSMCMode Error: SMC is in 'ÿ' mode, not 'A' mode
AppleLMUController::start Error: SMC mode check failed

Then the beachball of death happens.

I tried FakeSMC 6.18.1394 (found somewhere on the web), 6.16.1372 (latest official) and 6.9.1315.

I also tried CsrActiveConfig values (0x00 and 0x03), rootless=0 and other options.

I attached my EFI System Partition.

Best Regards,
Mr nUUb

normally, to just need this boot arg:

kext-dev-mode-1

try to copy fakesmc.kext in this 3 folder (EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS):

EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/10.10/fakesmc.kext

EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS10.11/fakesmc.kext (ever done)

EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/Others/fakesmc.kext

Cheers !

I should have mentioned, that I already tried inserting the kext in every numbered folder + other AND

deleteting every numbered folder + using only other folder. It made no difference.

Using only the kext-dev-mode=1 argument (and disablig -xcpm and -gux_defe_usb2) does not change anyting, too.

EDIT: So I finally managed to get El Capitan installed. I made a backup of my clover folder. The I used "Clover OX X El Capitan v7" and prepared my thumb drive with it. I mounted the EFI partition and applied my backup. Now everything is working, FakeSMC.kext and Clover config were OK, but somehow the installer was messed up.

Why didn't you follow post #20? I always follow it if I want to reinstall and it works!

Thanks dude! I must have overlooked it!

So I got everything up and running!

Except the App Store... my computer could not be verified.

EDIT: Got it working! I removed all network connections in system configuration, deleted the NetworkInterfaces.plist file and rebooted.

Then I added the WiFi device first and logged in!

  • 2 weeks later...

 - Update to my previous post here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307911-guide-samsung-ativ-smart-pro-xe700t1c-1010x-and-10110-100/?p=2205237

I updated the Gesture Settings file Gesture_settings.zip and Made these changes:

  • Press & Tap: You will have to touch the screen with a finger then another (like two fingers tap, but one finger at a time), this will Toggle Keyboard Viewer (KeyUp if available and selected in Other Settings, it should be, but cannot guarentee it, else, it will open the OS X keyboard viewer, eww)
  • 5 Finger pinch: Toggle window Zoom (fullscreen)
  • 2 finger edge gesture:
    • from left: Mission Control
    • from right: Launchpad
  • 1 finger edge gesture (just like in Windows 10!!)
    • from left: Mission Control
    • from right: Notifications

And to fix UPDD/KeyUp battery "slurping" (exactly as it sounds, not really a fix, but a workaround, may not have a big impact, but I tried):

  1. Open Terminal (or iTerm)
  2. Make sure you have "brew" ( http://brew.sh )
  3. Type:
    brew install cputhrottle libfaketime
  4. Download this file updd-ku.zip
  5. Add it to Login Items (Preferences > Users and groups > Your User Name > Login Items > Unlock the padlock drag updd-ku.app > remove UPDD Gestures > Close
  6. Open updd-ku.app

For people who don't want to type in their password every time:

  1. Open Automator
  2. Select Open an Existing Document or File > Open ...
  3. Select updd-ku.app
  4. You should find two Steps with "run AppleScript" as title (remember, two!!)
  5. Add after
    ... with administrator privileges
     this
    password "<your password here>"
     so that you get
... with administrator privileges password "<your password here>"

eg.: my password is midi I should get

... with administrator privileges password "midi"
  6. Save and execute.

Warning: This may (and certainly will) expose your password to anyone, if someone knows about Automator and such, he/she can easily open the file and read your password.

For config.plist:

I used the config.plist https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD4000_1600x900.plist

Then I opened it with Clover Configurator, went to ACPI, disabled the USB patches on top, went to Devices and put Inject 3, UseIntelHDMI, then to KextstoPatch and enabled (they were disabled) all the HDMI-audio patches and the the 10.11 glitch fix, added Audio patches, and disabled everything else, then changed MacbookPro9,2 to MacbookAir5,2 and saved it to my EFI partition.

Hope it helps.
