shoumma
Hello everyone, I facing some trouble with my SD Card Reader on my Dell 3442 laptop. I have tried by changing device id and vendor id, also changed it to an external device, still out of luck. Here is what is showing on my System Information: USB2.0-CRW: Product ID: 0x0129 Vendor ID: 0x0bda (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.) Version: 39.60 Serial Number: 20100201396000000 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Generic Location ID: 0x1d180000 / 4 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured) Built-In: Yes Is there any way I could get it working? Also anyone could tell me if I'm able to get my bluetooth working? BCM43142A0: Product ID: 0x21d7 Vendor ID: 0x0a5c (Broadcom Corp.) Version: 1.12 Serial Number: 543530E6B2C8 Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Broadcom Corp Location ID: 0x1d160000 / 3 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured) Built-In: Yes I'm not actually sure if it's my bluetooth. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Allan
SDCard = Some card readers are on the PCI bus and have OS X drivers available from the manufacturer (certain Jmicron devices, for example). Some are on the USB bus and might work using the class driver built-in to OS X. You won't know until you try. In your case, probably is PCI. After a couple hour of googling, I came into conclusion that, this particular model of Card Reader have no solution for OS X. Many people tried, but no success story. I don't know if I'm able to make it working. The method I tried (injecting deviceId and vendorId in AppleUSBCardReader.kext under AppleStorageDrivers.kext, doesn't work at all. I think no solution for this. As for Bluetooth/Wifi combo driver, I'm now trying with your given link's method. Will let you know the updates. I think I have a combo Bluetooth/WiFi adapter (Googling). Allan
Hey bro, i've searching about this WiFi Combo, and some users doesn't have success for enable in OS X. Here is the list of supported and unsupported card ( Yellow means work with WifiInjector kext, Green means work OOB, red means unsupported, HMB cards are cards also have Bluetooth )Or you can use a wifi dongle which is supported by OS X, but it also has downsides like battery draining, weak signal or causing sleep issues.
