Motherboard Recommendation for Intel Core i7-5820K build

Hi everyone,

I've been doing some more research, and I'm a bit closer to finalizing my hackintosh build. I'm trying to find a motherboard for a workstation build, and I'm not sure which one is the best. Since I want to use the Core i7-5820K 6-core CPU, it needs to have the LGA2011-3 socket. Here's the hardware I've chosen so far (Note: it's a work in progress; some of the components may change).

Is this a good build? Are there any other motherboards you'd recommend, and why? Has anyone had luck with the Asus X99-A/USB 3.1 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard?

Thank you! Is there a particular reason you'd recommend Nvidia over AMD? Also, what do they mean by, "All x99 systems suffer from Mem Map issues"?

Again, thanks for the infos.

MC :)

PS: I noticed RampageDev said x79 is a more stable platform. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks, I caught that and now I'm using the WDN4800. Bob Roche's video tutorials have made it so much easier.

Also, should I use Cooler Master or Corsair for CPU cooling? Is one brand better than the other?
