Allan
Apple has released an update called "El Capitan Recovery Update Version 2.0", it's a small update with size around 484MB. You can download via AppStore. The recovery mode allows users to boot into a recovery partition to repair, restore, and re-install OS X.

mnfesq
Funny, I went to install this update and found that I had already done so on Thursday, August 20th. I guess it came out a day earlier than this post.
WinstonAce
Do you have both 10.10 and 10.11 installed? No, only El CapitanI used diskutil to delete the partition and delete one of them and merge the space to my main partition.
RehabMan
No, only El Capitan I used diskutil to delete the partition and delete one of them and merge the space to my main partition. If you had 10.10 installed at some point, you may have still had the recovery partition for it.
