stinga11
Is there a kernel patch for X99 systems yet? Thanks- Try with the manual patch. At this moment I think so that the clover patch does not works with El capitan. sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3C|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3F|g' /System/Library/Kernels/kernel
wegface
If you call no chipset support and no cpupm working, then yes. As for being a good hack, no. I CAN remove teeth with a hammer, but some may say this is the wrong tool for the job.

AsusFreak
Yeap .. i transfer my disk from my other system with Z97 chipset with EL_Capitan PB6, with preinstallation the VoodooTSCSync, renew the flags with npci=0x2000 etc and works .. Non kernel patch Non Clover patch on the air.. just works.. and working good Thanks, I've got a Z97 running PB6 so I'll try that shortly. Currently running an install of 10.11 dev on the X99 but it's failed twice already (in the middle of the install), trying to figure that out... AsusFreak
I can verify that the EL_Capitan PB6 will run on x99 with CloverUEFI without the HaswellE patch and following Moviemakergr's process. I think I'll move on to trying to do a clean install on x99... Thanks Moviemakergr! EDIT: Well it only boots once, then it requires copying a patched kernel to the Kernel folder...

Balamut
Yup, same {censored}. Looks like El Capitan doesn't like 5690x. Too bad, was thinking about building dual cpu rig. Well back to Yosemite I guess. It's a shot in a dark but... Does sleep works?

You need download the last version of clover. 3259 and change the osxaptio with this OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi.zip and then use cloverconfigurator and delete the kextdevmode and rootles args and add the csractiveconfig options. david_osx
hey man, i manged to install 10.11 gm turns out that my first method of creating the installer to my SSD partition was the main problem... btw I'm using the lastest clover as well So i used criss usb installer and made a brand new installer and then mounted the EFI of the usb drive and changed his config file to mine and added ur dsdt and ssdt and the standard kext like nullcpu and fakesmc... only then wolaa i could boot the installer and install just fine so happy right now :DD i had to boot the installer with imac 13.2 since usb rare port 2.0 not working but he front one dose. although i don't know if i need to use that osxaptio u mentioned above by now... maybe i should remove that in clover later on...? Anyway for Now the next problem is how to enable usb 2.0 so both mouse and keyboard works... I don't know really how to make this correct but I'm trying here to install this dummyusbkext from this thread but can't make it to work of course http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306777-guide-usb-fix-el-capitan-1011/page-1 here is usb port with mouse from 10.10.5 with SMBIOS 6.1 http://share.pho.to/9iNz3/uq/original usb port with keyboard http://share.pho.to/9iNz3/i6/original

AsusFreak
stinga told me to post it here man i don't know why to be honest Probably because you ask him the question here. Would help if you put system specs in your sig. @stinga - Your X99 patch works fine on El Cap, unfortunately Clover's HaswellE patch does not, so making a CloverUEFI El Cap installation USB seems close to impossible at the moment as El Cap like Yos appears to create the kernel during the install so there's place to copy a patched kernel to the installer. Any ideas welcome. Thanx
