nftch
Hey, I’m slowly migrating to OSX on my PC, and because we have today non-working day in Poland, I decided to ask you about one thing that’s driving me crazy… I have successfully installed Yosemite (and got today 10.10.5 update) on that machine: Motherboard: MSI B85M-E33 v1 Processor: Intel Pentium G3258 RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Graphics: Asus (Nvidia) GT730 2GB GDDR3 Storage: Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB Audio: Integrated Realtek ALC887 chipset Network: Integrated 10/100/1000 Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 chipset Drives: DVD LG GH24NSB0 Display: 21.5" Samsung S22C300 FullHD Keyboard: Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000 USB Mouse: Modecom MC-M9 USB Target OS: Apple Mac OS X Yosemite with this tutorial (recommended by Polish OSx86 community):http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293369-clover-uefi-guide Because I have unsupported CPU (though really popular), I have enabled FakeCPUID, NullCPUPowerManagement and -xcpm flag. Complete config.plist here (I haven't setup App Store yet, no S/N there ): http://nftch.neocities.org/osx/config.txt But I have some problems with suspend. I can put my PC to sleep successfully, but after waking it up: with lockscreen enabled: After entering password, nothing happens. After few seconds I had that little spinning pinwheel… I could move the cursor, but couldn’t click anything. The only thing I was able to do then, was rebooting PC. with lockscreen disabled: I have opened Finder window in the foreground before putting device to sleep. After waking up, I was unable to, for example, open new app from Dock. After right-clicking item inside Finder and choosing „Open with”, I had the same spinning wheel and there was need to reboot PC because it became useless. When my monitor is automatically turned off, I’m able to press any keyboard key to bring it „back to life” So, I rather don't need darkwake flags. Suspending hard drives is completely disabled under Energy Saver. My primary hard drive is the only one I have. Can someone suggest me what to do? I’m almost sure that this is related to hard drive, but I don’t know how to solve it. Also, during every boot, after logging in, there’s a window shown about system failure, with log included below. I don’t know why there is „file:///Install%20OS%20X%20Yosemite.app” included, but boot args are the same I’m using now (during installation I had „-v maxmem=4096” for better debugging).
