tigersoul
Hey folks, Sleep works fine as well as wake on my rig, but sleep is delayed when issued. After I click the sleepcommand in the menu, there's a good 20 seconds or so before the machine actually is sleeping. Most of this time passes by after the monitor has been turned off but the machine isn't yet off. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm on clover, uefi. Gigabyte z97mx-gaming 5. Let me know what else may be needed. I've looked the the console but I can't find much. Most of the delay happens after a few rows about notification center getting aware of the sleep request. tigersoul
You add flag darkwakemode=0 Ah great I'll try this. Any negative side-effects to this? Think I read something about it relating to power nap, WHICH I*M NOT USING but still curious. Unfortunately, changing it did nothing. You didn't mean =no ? tigersoul
Just got a comment from a friend of mine that osx has had a 20s sleep delay since ml. I tested on my old macbook pro recently upgraded to Yosemite and indeed, 24 secs delay until sleep. What a weird "feature".
