This is a very strange issue, probably sleep works only once, for next time display just turn off and on, throw back to desktop.

pmset -g assertions shows this:

Listed by owning process:
   pid 69(apsd): [0x000000c0000b01aa] 00:00:00 ApplePushServiceTask named: "com.apple.apsd-datareceived-push.apple.com"
   pid 47(powerd): [0x000000bb000d0191] 00:00:05 InternalPreventSleep named: "com.apple.powermanagement.darkwakelinger"
	Assertion applied on Battery power also
	Timeout will fire in 9 secs Action=TimeoutActionRelease
Kernel Assertions: 0x4=USB
   id=500  level=255 0x4=USB mod=2015. 08. 10. 7:14 description=EHC2 owner=AppleUSBEHCI

Looks like something is prevent it. I tried to change darkwake value, all of them with no luck.

Has someone the same problem? Or any experience about it?

If you need more technical information just feel free to ask.

Anyway this is a Dell Vostro 2520, i5 Ivy 3210m.

  • 9 months later...

Just about one year ago and now I find out what the hell is going on. So sleep can work again if press any button on the buildin keyboard. Hmm... I used my lapi with external keyboard and mouse, and before I want it to go sleep just had to press any button on the buildin keyboard. :) Maybe this will help for others.

I mean the lapi goes sleep :D not me.
