Skylake/Z170 compatibility?

Has any one of you guys tried installing OS X on a Skylake-based rig? Wonder if the likes of Slice and the Clover team would do their usual thing with them new CPUs.

 

i realy want to buy, new i7 6700k and z170 asus 

i'm wainting for test ... no one talk about this new hardware 

i found nothing

While purely theoretical, you should be able to set MacPro3,1 and just use a lot of switches and bootloader settings to get it to boot. You will most likely lose reclocking and a lot of more advanced features, but it will work in a kind of compatibility mode. Until an iMac comes out with Skylake we won't have good z170 platform compatibility for desktop. The same for laptops and MBP Skylake. Since Apple refreshed the laptop line recently it may be late this year when we see it happen. Normally Apple likes to put at least 4 months between la refresh and a new launch.

A modified Kernel is required. To date there is non available.

We will likely see a modified kernel soon.

The Final release of El Kap will not include a Kernel for LGA 1151.

After Apple release an actual Hardware release including an LGA1151 system then we can expect native support for hakintosh on LGA1151

The next update of the Mac Pro Mini Tower will most definitely include LGA1151 but release date is unknown. Likely chip to see in it is Mobile Xeons: Skylake Based E3-1500M

This is incorrect too. Apple never supported AMD CPU while hackintoshers use it.

Clover has some kernel patches on the fly. I just not sure they are enough.

Hackintosh is for hackers who are able to overcome difficulties.

I just bought Gigabyte Z170 HD3 + Intel Core i7 6700 with Palit GTX960 4GB DDR5. I had used FakeCPUID already (0x0306C0) and itu stuck at first 3 line verbose log with "++++++++++++++" symbol. 
And if i hadn't used FakeCPUID then it will kernel panic with log "unable to find driver for this platform: ACPI bla bla bla"

I will be patient until new clover version support for this processor :)

I don't understand why OS X needs to be updated for newer platforms such as Skylake, when Linux / Windows boot & install just fine on Skylake without drivers... Same thing with being able to install Windows XP on a Core i7... why does OS X need support enhancements?

Windows and Linux are designed to be installed on a combination of assorted hardware.  OSX is designed only to run on the specific hardware combinations built by Apple.  They only contain drivers for the limited set of hardware that Apple produces and for some 3rd party peripherals which they have approved.  The kernel in OSX is compiled for specific processors.  It is not built to run on the combined assortment of hardware that makes up a typical PC.  Since Apple has not yet produced a machine with Skylake they have not compiled the kernel to support it nor to support the Z170 chipset.

 

Edit: an article 3 weeks ago on Slashdot about how Linus Torvalds made new releases to make Linux compatible with Skylake and R9 video:

 

Mr. Torvalds has released Linux 4.3-rc1 this weekend. He characterized the release as "not particularly small — pretty average in size, in fact. Everything looks fairly normal, in fact, with about 70% of the changes being drivers, 10% architecture updates, and the remaining 20% are spread out." There are a number of new user-facing features including stabilized Intel "Skylake" processor support, initial AMD R9 Fury graphics support, SMP scheduler optimizations, file-system fixes, a reworked open-source NVIDIA driver, and many Linux hardware driver updates.
