USB devices freeze on waking from sleep

Hi,

I have a Yosemite installation using the latest Clover. Sleep works fine (using darkwake=8). Waking with usb mouse/bluetooth keyboard turns the display on, the cursor in an open text document is flashing, but both the keyboard and mouse are frozen! Unplugging and replugging doesn't change it. Also, any usb drives attached have a dismount error.

Can anyone help?

Found a possible solution on another board:

  • Enter your UEFI BIOS
  • Go to MIT-Advanced Frequency Settings > Advanced CPU Core Features > Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage
  • Set this to Disabled otherwise you will lose all USB devices on wake

Not all boards have this option, but my guess is it's bios related.

Couldn't find that option, but found something called "Filter PLL", disabled that and OS-X wouldn't boot.

The bios must "see" my USB devices as I can use them to wake up the computer, and turn the display on, but then they're frozen.
