Hello,

i have a problem to get output with my new MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G on the DVI port.

The card has the following ports: DP/DP/DP/HDMI/DVI (I don´t know if this is the right order!)

I have Mac OS X 10.10.4 (Bootloader, the recent Clover version) with nvidias web drivers installed.

- First I do not inject - No output on DVI port.

- Second I Inject with clover (I can see the values in the bootoptions at startup)

Here are the values I get from the IO Explorer:

NVCAP: 050000000000ffffffff0000000000e000000000

and I added under Ports: 5

- No DVI output

The system starts without problem, but I cannot see the Desktop, the monitor

get blank after the apple startup logo.

I think the system works, because I can for example eject my DVD-drive and when

I type on the keyboard I hear the "errorsound" from my soundcard.

I think the output of the card goes to the DisplayPort(s), but I have no option to test this,

because my monitor has no DP-inputs.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Andy

Use the old card to set up Remote Desktop or VNC, and remote to the hack with new card installed. You can be sure what works and what not that way. I have the same card, but DVI didn't work either, I have both of my monitors hooked to DP now.
