thank you two, MacPeet and Mirone, I don't really understand what  HPET & LPC  are, and DSDT has many errors when compile. So I think I'll spend some time to find some instruction to patchAppleHDA manually and then I'll do your tricks.

@babibada

Here are a few attempts for ext. Mic.

via KextUtility and 1-2 reboots for the test

Layout ID is 3 or HDAEnabler3.kext

If it works please screenshots of System Configuration / Audio

Edit:
Kext deleted - no longer relevant

Good job MacPeet, well now someone here could report If this works with ALC290?:

Iphone headset (ComboJack, not only LineIn).

I say this because in all codecs I already fix AppleHDA that There's ComboJack it does not work,

or works only one or the other but MacPeet may have found the solution.

Good job MacPeet!

I take a look at Phuanh004's codecdump and I see that you reversed all pathmaps of input and output devices.

Pathmaps should usually be:

Mic: 9 34 18

LineIn: 8 35 26

Headphone: 21 12 2

Speaker: 24 13 3

But in your kext, 9 34 18 is for LineIn, 8 35 26 for Mic and the pathmaps of output devices are reversed too. Is this the solution to make Mic work???

good news, I'll try for other codecs.

Edit: Long ago I corrected one ALC290 and everything works even ComboJack, but only with Layout_ID = 1, tried for other codecs but no luck.

Hi Mirone, I've patched many laptop codecs and I find out that Asus codecs with 1 combo jack, ALC233 for example, have only three verbs for headphone, speaker and microphone. It means that LineIn cannot work in any case.

Have you figured out any solution to make external mic work?

@muxuxi

No, both ports operate with both nodes. The order does not matter.

Many computers only work with MuteGPIO=0 (Layout.xml) for mic and line input.
I think this was the solution in the HP's ALC290.
