RehabMan has made a nice summary on how to do it from multiple operating systems: https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/wiki/How-to-patch-your-DSDT Also from Windows, you can use Aida64: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK8sHsQ-76Q Use the Engineer edition.
