Ashanx Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Hello I am rather new to this forum. I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with a small issue I am having. I am currently running 10.10.4 and everything is working great. Brightness, Video/Graphics, USB Wakes from sleep, iMessage is working. I mean everything is perfect except for my audio. I have tried everything that I could possibly find to correct this issue. I have tried patching my own codec. I have tried download other patched codecs all to no avail. I have tried voodoohda but always get a kernel panic. When I try and change from class match to primary match it will boot up fine but still no audio. What is strange is that under my system profile it will list under audio "Intel High Definition audio layout 3" but it will not show anything else nor connect the dots to the patched applehda. I have also attempted the new patching method that I have found on several different sites by adding it to my fakesmc and still no sound. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I'm currently using clover. I have included my codec dumps and verbs here. I have also included my DSDT and Clover Config List. I currently have an HP Envy 17-j181nr I would really appreciate any help that you all might be able to give me. I thank you all for your time.
