PhantomUK
Hi all, Just a quick feedback, I changed my onboard ALC1150 to a USB Behringer U202 audio interface (23£ Amazon) and all my sound issues are gone. With the internal card I had cracks and pops in my M-Audio BX5-2 speakers, with the USB interface all the sound is crystal clear. Other issue was the headphone detection that wasn't working properly, also fixed now. Better even, the USB works natively, no patching required. In my case I had to restore the native AppleHDA otherwise the system wouldn't boot with the onboard card disabled. Last thing to swap out now is my wifi card for a natively supported one ;-) E. Moorviper
Yes I am using the UCA Interfaces for a couple of years. The sound quality is nearly the same as a original Mac has.
