doubledaffy888
I'm happy to say that I migrated to clover and got Messages working rather painlessly. Now I'd like to use google chat with Messages. The only hang up is that the Preferences>Accounts page is now empty (I attached a photo). When I click the "+" button and try to add a google account it says "Duplicate Account. The google account already exists". In System Preferences>Interent Accounts, Messages is selected for my google account. Any idea what is going on here and how to fix it? doubledaffy888
Thanks for the reply, I've already done this, but to no effect. In Messages when I click Window>Buddies a message pops up saying "No accounts are active"
Allan
In System Preferences, you don't have this?
doubledaffy888
I do have that screen. Under my Google account Messages is selected. I have tried removing my google account and re-adding it to no avail.
Allan
Strange. With another accounts, e.g: iCloud account, works normally?
doubledaffy888
Yup. Everything works normally. Calendar works with my google account. Messages works find with my AppleID. Just no luck with google chat...
Allan
Hmm, very strange. When i get home i'll make some tests, i don't know if is a problem in Yosemite. But in Mavericks works great.
