Hi,

I basically followed this tutorial entirely to run Mac OS (iPC_OSx86_10.5.6) on Ubuntu 14.04 using qemu:

http://nnucomputerwhiz.com/run-osx-in-ubuntu-with-qemu.html

The only difference in execution was this:

Ethernet driver: PCGENRTL8139  was not available in the list for me. So I installed all the available ethernet drivers.

I got it to run just fine.

The only problem however is that I'm unable to connect to the internet from Mac OS.

My host machine is connected to wifi. But the guest Mac OS machine isn't able to connect to it.

I see no wifi icon in the menu bar.

Please help me out.

PS: I'll be glad to give a small tip in bitcoin for help. :)

Here is what I see in Network Utility in MAC:

IP Address(es): Unknown

MAC address: [valid MAC address]

So I guess the network adapter is working correctly, but the guest OS hasn't been assigned an IP address. How do I go do this?

And it's Mac OS I'm trying to run, not iOS. I'm sorry about this.
