owbp
As title says, and video shows, animation problem occurs only on maximize. It doesn't occur with any other app. Anyone ever experienced something similar? Started happening today.
Allan
This happens in what version of OS X? Safari is updated?
owbp
I'm sorry for that. It's Mavericks 10.9.5 and everything is fully updated. Edit: Last update was on June 4. 2015. (Safari ver 7.1.6)
Allan
Strange, with another WebBrowser this happens too? E.g: Chrome, Firefox? Maybe is a bad video activation... I'll sleep now, is 12:09PM here...Cya!
owbp
It sorted itself after reboot. Still a bit rough but not as bad as in the video. Chrome is smooth, and so are iTunes, Maps, Finder... Every other app, really. Mail is not so smooth, but nowhere as jumpy as Safari. Nothing big, but if you have an idea i'll be glad to sort it out. Good night! It's 5:19 AM here, but i'm up since 3 AM, couldn't sleep!
Allan
You can try reinstall OS X, not format. In this way, you don't will lose your files.
owbp
I was thinking about that since i have myhack Mavericks usb ready (10.9 GM) with perfect Extra folder, but this is the first time that i don't have two OS X's on two separate partitions so i'm a bit worried how to fix things if something went wrong. Also, i'm not gonna be at peace until i figure out how to install Yosemite without Legacy HDD setting, so i'll get to work and let you know how it all went.
Allan
If you will test Yosemite, create another partition. I use in this way here, Mavericks (forever) and Yosemite only for tests.
