accountmac
Netflix seems to only allow 6000 kbps 1080P streams on Safari with Yosemite. From: https://help.netflix.com/article/en/node/23742?ba=GSButtonClick&q= Supported Browsers: Internet Explorer 11 or later on Windows 8.1 or later Safari on Mac OSX 10.10 or later (Yosemite)Supported on all 2012 or later models and select 2011 models Google Chrome version 37 or later on Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later and Mac OSX 10.6 or later (Snow Leopard) Resolution: Stream in HD if your Internet connection supports 5 megabits per second or more. Google Chrome up to 720p Internet Explorer up to 1080p Safari up to 1080p on Mac OSX 10.10.3 or later I had an old 17 inch macbook pro whose serial, UUID, MLB etc I'm using to maintain icloud and imessage access for my haswell 4670K, GTX 770 build. I'm still able to change my system definition to iMac 14,2 which makes sense for my 4670K. About this mac shows MacBook Pro (17-inch 2.4GHZ), Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 and system report does have the model name as iMac 14,2. When I run netflix on Safari I get prompted to install silverlight. I'm assuming it's because my system is still flagged as a macbook pro. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this? VirusX
I'd be interested in a fix for that too since I'm using an serial and MLB etc. from an old macbook too. Hopefully there's a trick without changing the serial...
