alxr89
Hi, I'm running Yosemite on my acer Aspire 1810tz cpu : intel core 2 Duo , SU 4100 ram: 2 GB gpu: Intel gm-45 When I try to check "show battery percentage" from "battery" preferences, it has been unchecked automatically. However I'm still using my stock battery. Could you suggest me any kext to install? Thanks

alxr89
And use the boot-argument: kext-dev-mode=1 Thanks but i'm not able to boot with this option. Does another option exists that works like that?
Allan
Thanks but i'm not able to boot with this option. You can't use this boot-argument? Why? You have some error? For Yosemite is obligatory.
alxr89
I've tried again, now with kext-dev-mode boot successfully. But I'm not yet able to enable "show battery status" flag. Should I install kext after boot with kext-dev-mode=1 ?
Allan
Should I install kext after boot with kext-dev-mode=1 ? Yes. And repair the disk permissions. If this kext don't work, you can use this tip: DSDT/SSDT: Enable battery by patching your DSDT using pre-made patches ( Laptop-exclusive )
