thedropdead
Hello Guys,I recently bought an Nvidia based ASUS GTX 560 DirectCU 2 OC to upgrade my system. Now i connected my Screen via the DVI connector on the Card to my Monitor and set the BIOS to my PCI Express Graphics card. Now booting with -v works fine, but as soon as the boot process is over, my Monitor looses the Signal and turns off.I have tried using the onboard DVI with the Onboard BIOS Graphic Option, which lets me use the system and install the Nvidia Web Drivers (quite laggy of course). After Installing the Drivers i tried booting with the following Boot flags:-v GraphicsEnabler=Yes-v GraphicsEnabler=No-v GraphicsEnabler=No nvda_drv=1-v GraphicsEnabler=No nvda_drv=1 PCIRootUID=0-v GraphicsEnabler=No nvda_drv=1 PCIRootUID=1But it always ends in the situation described above.I cannot try the HDMI Output as it is an miniHDMI Output and i do not have an adapter laying around, but i will try to buy one the next days, to see if the DVI Ports might be the issue (Still no real solution because my current Monitor only does have DVI or VGA).I am using the Chimera Bootloader v4.1.0] Build Date 2015-04-22 # 20:46:10.I tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes already, but there was only the signal lost.I would install and use Clover, but i am more familiar with Chameleon/Chimera so far.I have already searched for an Option to disable onboard Graphics at all, but there is none.In the South Bridge Section of my BIOS there is only onboard Audio to deactivate and Ethernet. It would be great if anyone experienced in Nvidia Cards on Hackintoshs could help me out here, as i have been using an AMD Radeon HD 5670 before which worked via the HDMI Port but only with settings the BIOS to the Onboard Card. I was using the following Definition:MacBook Pro (13 Inch, Mid 2010)because of the serial Number injected to make the App Store working, but changed it because of an advice to the Mac Pro 3,1 Definition. So I changed the system Definition to Mac Pro 3,1, added kext-dev-mode because of a kext for phone USB tethering and checked the GraphicsEnabler=Yes option, but the Problem is still there. As soon as the login screen should appear, the monitor looses its signal.Tried booting with GE Yes and GE No and with nvda_drv=1But it was still worth a try Now after doing the above mentioned actions,Switching to Onboard Graphics does give a memory Allocation error, so i cant boot into the system anymore with the onboard graphics and with my PCIE graphics Card the signal is still lost when the loading screen should appear.Any Ideas?
