I am a complete layman who bought this computer off a hobbyist years ago - has run fantastic but unfortunately an update in Steam has necessitated I update my OS. I did once before to get to 10.6.8, which I believe means I have an EFI-X 1.1 in there. I realize this is ancient technology but my system still runs pretty well and I'm reluctant to invest in a new computer when this one works more than fine. I produce music on this beauty and it's plenty fast enough. Anybody have experience with one of these? Is it worth the effort trying to resolve this? Need to get to 10.9 at least. Thanks!
