Yosemite on VMware Workstation 11 and AMD CPU

Greetings,

I am new to this forum, and I have been looking for answers to my problem, but after scouring the internet, I have so far been unable to find a solution. I currently have the following problem:

I want to run Yosemite on VMware Workstation 11. I have unlocked VMW with the Unlocker v2.0.4, and I am able to set the machine type to MacOS, and I have an ISO of the Yosemite installer, but no matter what setting I choose, all I get is the VMware logo then a white Apple logo on a black background, and then the VM reboots in an endless loop without any errors. This happens regardless of whether I'm booting to the ISO or the virtual HDD. I have another PC that has VMW 10, and I was able to successfully install Yosemite on that one without any problems. The only difference I can see between the VMW 11 and VMW 10 machines is that the VMW 10 machine has an Intel i7 CPU, and the VMW 11 machine has an AMD FX-4170 CPU. Hardware virtualization has already been enabled on both machines, so that is not the problem. I have even gone as far as taking the entire VM from VMW 10 and imported it into the VMW 11 machine, and I still get the same problem. I am certain that having an AMD CPU is not an automatic show-stopper as I have an older VM (MacOS X 10.5.5) that works perfectly on the VMW 11 machine. Is there something that I'm missing?

Thanx,

It is nothing to do with Workstation 10 and 11, it is your processor, vanilla OS X does not support AMD CPU's, only Intel, so you will need to get an OS X distribution which has had the kernel modified to support AMD processors, look for Niresh, but others do exist.
