I need some assistant here please. I’ve just installed Yosemite on my PC, everything seems to be working fine except my network. Now in my network my Ethernet Adaptor (en) is green connected and active. It has the right IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router which it set up automatically. So it seems to have connected to my router no problem but it doesn’t seem to go passed that. Under Network Diagnostics i’ve got green Ethernet and green Network Settings but my ISP, Internet and Server are red in other words failed. Any one that could tell me how to fix this issue I would appreciate it. Thank you

Update:  Even though my Ethernet Adaptor (en) is green connected and active, having the right IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router which it set up automatically it is not connected to the router.  I tried connecting to the router by entering the router IP it doesn't connect. So I don't know how it's getting the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router when it's not even connecting to my router and I don't know why it shows green and says it's connected.

I disconected my cable to the router, guess what it says disconnected, so I guess it is connected to the router after all, which explains how it got the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router. But here is the thing, if it is connected to the router why when I type in the router IP address in the browser it won't connect to the router. I should connect to the router and allow me to log in to it.

I'm still waiting for that reply so that I can start using Yosemite.

I guess no one has got a solution, so much for Yosemite
