I've been trying to hackintosh my HP laptop for a day or two, but haven't been able to get it working. I've had errors from the OS X installer at the end from Undefined error to just having a frozen installer, and when I try to convert the .dmg file to a .img with dmg2img, half the time I get errors that the dmg file is corrupted or it will freeze or say inflation failed for the last partition of the .dmg. So does anyone have any ideas why I'm having these problems and how I can fix them? Most of the builds where I get dmg file is corrupted are from HackintoshZone.

I'm using this guide from @Ratul

I recommend creating the installer USB under Mac OS.

I would but I don't have access to a mac or any form of OS X right now and am not able to borrow a laptop from a friend or something, and I can't get OS X running in a VM.

Hello Alex, welcome to InsanelyMac Forum!

You can download OS X .raw in Olarila Forum, burn in your Pendrive and start the OS X installation following the instructions.

Would be nice if you post here what is your hardware specs.

I'm not able to get access to a mac and I can't get my VM working for some reason, even after following a guide that @SummerRain PM'd me.

I send a Olarila method for you via PM.

And after you install OS X, you need follow this guide: [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Finger reader don't work in any OS X, because Apple don't use it.

Already tried Olarila method you talked about in an earlier post Have already tried this, only way to boot is with -v cpus=1 common hp laptop problem I've heard but than I still get errors that prevent the OS from booting, I'll list them when I see them again since I can't remember of the top of my head. , but haven't tried the Intel 1st gen graphics guide, so I'll look at that.

In the link that i sent to you, you can find this:

Boot with single user. (Clover press space bar and select "Boot with single user" and with you use Chameleon use this flag -s)

Even if you have 1 Graphics, sometimes you need move the kexts temporarily for enable video, and avoid problems, like yours: iobluetoothhcicontroller missing bluetooth controller transport

When I try to type in the commands for deleting the Intel Video kexts, I get nothing, the ls command doesn't do anything and when I use cd to change directory to /volumes/ it doesn't report anything back and it just goes back to bash-3.2# and doesn't tell me the directory I'm currently in. (unless it isn't supposed to tell me what directory I'm in?), and If I just type in cd it gives me: cd: HOME not set

where is Fakesmc.kext ? if you not have this kext in Extra/Extensions or S/L/E of your USBInstaller this never go to work

Uhh, no idea? Can I just google search FakeSMC.kext download and put it in the right directory and try to boot again, or can you get me a link to one?

EDIT I just found one on you know who X86, will it work?

Also, not able to see the drive when I plug it in anymore, so I'll have to reimage the drive with Yosemite again and try to add FakeSMC.kext to it.
