Alex King, the man behind this notice, have made some tests installing Windows 10 I.P in a MacBook 12-inch.

He inform that Windows 10 is more fast and smooth than OS X Yosemite.

Considering that in Windows 10 we still don't have all the drivers available. Look what he says:

Here's the real kicker: it's fast. It's smooth. It renders at 60FPS unless you have a lot going on. It's unequivocally better than performance on OS X, further leading me to believe that Apple really needs to overhaul how animations are done. Even when I turn Transparency off in OS X, Mission Control isn't completely smooth. Here, even after some Aero Glass transparency has been added in, everything is smooth. It's remarkable, and it makes me believe in the 12-inch MacBook more than ever before.

Great! Just imagine when available the final version!  :w00t:

Yep, I confirmed that Windows 10 is somehow smoother than OS X on my Macbook Pro. The only downside is the touchpad, which Apple doesn't give a damn about it. Still forced to use 3rd party software to make it work as it should with the OS X counterpart

OS X runs unequivocally better on my PC than win 10 does.. go figure..

:pirate:

that is exactly what I wanted to say when I read this news   ^_^

but as this kind of remark can turn very quickly in a OSX vs Windows battle, I preferred to avoid it    :tomato:

the next news... OS X 10.11 Developer Preview (like all previous releases, indeed   :P ), 2Faster2Firous in a PC hardware than in a Apple hardware

Thank you so much will give it a try

I know I am being dumb here now but just a heads up, how do I upgrade to the W10 Insider Preview without having to do a fresh installation from already installed bootcamp Windows 7 ?

Head here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso follow the instructions given on that page, download an ISO and you should be fine.

You don't need to have an existing copy Windows installed or even own a copy of Windows. You can install it from scratch.

Hope this helps.
