Also, ive been trying yosemite zone (niresh) and it works great excpet i get pci configuration end hang ot usbmsc hang. i can get around this by dropping a few kexts from s/l/e to extras. and as long as i dont use ##### after, it reports proper cpu as 3.06. still feels sluggish for an i3 with 8g ram and an ssd. Allan
For you get the right states, you can try: 1 - Generate a SSDT with Piker's script. 2 - Enable P/C states in your .plist After that, check if everything is right: How to check your states – Using AICPMInfo, MSRDumper or AppleIntelInfo
Lotustar
SWEET! Thanks so much. Im going to give it a try. So far i can boot with -f and it runs PERFECT. Smooth and VERY fast. There has to be a way to save a successful boot so it will always run whats loaded without the long boot with -f.
Allan
If with -f flag your Hack works good, continue to use. And have you using kext-dev-mode=1 too?
Lotustar
Yep it all works great now except... Wifi. I have two seperate mini pci cards i can try with an asus A06 pcie card transport. This is a desktop machine. Neither show up. Maybe you have an idea how to make one of these work? Heres what I have. Asus card holder (not sure what this called) to use the mini pci cards i have. 1st card is a BCM94311mCGHP1 2nd is a BCM4324A (also has the numbers 1020 on it. Came out of my old HP Pavillion dv9000. Lotustar
UPDATE: Got the BCM94311 to work with the Asus card holder. Had to use this kext: http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/download/547-bcm41xx-43xx-airport/ Worked great for me under Yosemite. Shows third party card but who cares. I can use airport utility. Big thanks to Allan for helping me get my CPU sorted. Thanks man!! :-)

Lotustar
One more quick update because it's kinda funny. I did a geekbench test and my score was 880 in 32bit. What!!!? The machine still ran great until I loaded Logic pro x with Kontakt 5. Audio stutters galore. Started poking around in the case and the heat sink/fan was totally loose from cpu!! The previous owner must not have secured it properly. You could see how the thermal paste had heated up. It was a dif color. So, new paste and a proper re-seat and bench test is at 8,000. HUGE difference. I feel like such an idiot for not checking this new hardware when I got it. Oh, and Logic Pro never misses a beat now. :-) Check your hardware kids, and keep supporting this awesome forum!
iCezar
So you're saying this was an overheating problem?
