Dell 780 + NVidia GeForce GT640

 

What we need?

 

- USB Flash drive 8GB bootable MacOS 10.10.3 ([url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] install) (Diazepam)

- USB Flash drive with ,Steps, Kexts, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], utilities, Apps… (Lexotan)

 

 

1. Create a USB boot flash drive:

 

Using a Mac or Hackinstosh to create a USB BooUnibeast install.

1.1 Buy on Apple Store your MacOs X (Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite)

1.2 On Apple Store, select Purchases and then Donwload MacOS X

1.3 Insert you USB Flash drive on Mac, open disk utility and Partition:

Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

Options… : GUID Partition Table

1.4 Open [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], Select Diazepam USB Flash drive and create a bootable USB Drive.

 

2. Bios Settings Dell Optiplex 780

Before we boot from the Dell Optiplex we need to optimize the bios for OSX Yosemite

  1. Start your Dell Optiplex and press F2 to get into the Bios.
  2. Go to Boot Sequence and choose on the right for USB Device and click the up arrow so that the USB Device is on top, click on apply to make the setting.
  3. Go then to Drives - Sata Operation and choose on the right for Raid Autodetect/AHCI click again on apply and choose exit, now the Bios is ready for installing OSX Yosemite

 

3. Boot with this USB flash drive, press F12 to choice the USB

and then use BOOT IGNORE CACHES on boot.

 

4. Open Disk Utility and Partition HD: 

Mac OS Extended (Jounaled)

name: MacHD

 

5. Install MacOSX

 

6. Restart And Select internal HD (MacHD) and Boot Ignore Caches

 

7. Set Up you Name and Password.

 

8. Open System preferences / Security & Privacy and Allow install apps downloaded from anywhere

 

9. Insert USB Flash drive with ,Steps, Kexts, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], utilities, Apps… (Lexotan)

 

10. Open [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and load the Dell_780_GT640.mb file

 

If there are not the Dell_780_GT640.mb file,  set up like this:

- Drivers/ Audio/ Universal/ VoodooHDA v0.2.1

- Drivers/ Disk/ 3rd Party SATA

- Drivers/ Misc/ ElliotForceLegacyRTC

- Drivers/ Misc/ EvOreboot

- Drivers/ Misc/ FakeSMC v6.14.1364

- Drivers/ Misc/ NullCPUPowerManagement

- Drivers/ Misc/ USB 3.0 Universal

- Drivers/ Network/ Intel/ AppleIntelE100e v3.1.0a

- Drivers/ Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement/ OS X 10.9.0

- Bootloaders/ Chimera v.4.1.0

- Customize/ Boot Options/ Basic Boot Options

- Customize/ Boot Options/ Hibernate Mode - Desktop

- Customize/ Boot Options/ Kext Dev Mode

- Customize/ Boot Options/ Use KernelCache

- Customize/ System Definitions/ Mac Pro/ Mac Pro 3,1

- Customize/ Themes/ tonymacx86 Black

 

 

1. Issues:

 

Every boot needs: Boot Ignore Caches because without this, the computer freeze on Apple logo...

Hibernate do not wake... Solution until here: In Energy Saver Panel, Select: Computer Sleep: Never... 

Display sleep works fine!

 

Any solution for this?
