orobin
Hi, I installed on my old pc (T3717.FR LEonite P5LE asus, E6400 dual core, Intel G950 on board, 4 GB ram, apple usb ethernet) I run with clover, Yosemiteu 10.10.3, using legacy boot. the driver of the intel G950 give me a lot of artifact when rendering the windows of the system, or applications. it seems that this card is too old. I don't wat to spend much on it, as I will build a bigger hackintosh soon. so : what kind of video card (pci express) I could use, in Yosemite 10.10.3, with a modified kext, or without. I don't need performance, I want just to have no graphic bug, and not too slow like my g950. I don't have much money, so the less expensive I found a lot of advice anywhere, but most of the time, I find user where it orks, and same where it does nto work ( personnaly, I tested these : nvidia 9800 GT : reboot during the boot nVidia quadro FX 1700 : reboot during the boot Intel 950G (on board) : works, but with artifacts, and slooooow ) thanks for advice. Slice
Almost all modern AMD cards will work in Yosemite. First look in your local market what you can purchase "non-expensive" so we can say OK or NO.
Dr. Hurt
As slice said. I'll add: HD5450 if you find it.
