Why would it take more resources than Yosemite -.-
WaldMeister
After this Update cDOCK not working. Did the others notice? Now that i read this post i did. Started the dock refresher manually, no changes. Guess we'll have to wait for an update.
pinarek
What could be the cause in the new DP of 10.10.4, the cDock no longer running now? What Apple has since changed in the system? Weis someone of the experienced users more? Update: I have now installed the DockMod, is an unlimited ongoing trial version and is almost as good as cDock.

PGHammer21B
10.10.4 (14E26a) seems to works well this old machine. Upcoming 10.11 worry deeply, what I have read it. T -.- Biggest change is that kexts ARE different than those for Yosemite, and that nVidia GPUs can manage to let the system go to sleep during boot (similar problem to early Yosemite). Now I've got Yosemite and El Cap beta 1 sharing a drive (both using a single copy of Clover), and since I didn't have to inject any kexts, I'm fine there. Third-party kext for LAN (RTL81xx) install still works; next/last is VoodooHDA.
