Hi,

I installed yosemite 10.10.2, on my pc ( pavillon 3717.fr )

almost all is working except ethernet on borad.

then, yesterday, I bought an ethernet dlink dge 528 T, thinking it was working well in yosemite ( I read some forum, but I probably made a mistake in the chipset....)

I installed my card, it is not recognised in osx.

I saw the driver cd : there is driver for osx 10.4

when I unpack the driver, there is a ktext : applertl8169ethernet.ktext

for sure, I cannot use it in yosemite

I checked with sudo ktextutil -v /System....

and it reported to me that the driver cannot be used because there is no 64 bots version.

then, I tried the RTL8169.ktext from ##### 7.2 for yosemite.

I used ktext wizard to rebuild the kernel cache and fix permission in case of...

I rebooted.

my ethernet card is still not visible in the control panel.

under a command line, if I run : sudo ktextutil -v /System/Library/Extension/AppleRTL8169.ktext, it says thqt the ktext is loaded.

if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong, it would be so great.

thanks

Olivier
