Hello,

I would like to request some help and guidance on how to troubleshoot the performance issue I am facing with my GPU on a hackintosh.

My card used to perform ok on 10.8 and 10.9. When I upgraded to 10.10 I had a big performance loss. I am not sure if this is normal or not.

I am trying to understand if something is missing on my configuration.

My use is NOT gaming but everyday work , coding, browsing etc.

- My GPU is "NVIDIA Quadro NVS 300 with 512MB" with two monitors hooked: 1920x1200 and 1280x1024.

- I use MacPro3,1 and GraphicsEnabler=Yes on Chameleon and the stock apple drivers and my card is recognized in 'About' as (which seems right):

Chipset Model:  NVIDIA Quadro NVS 300
  Type: GPU
  Bus:  PCIe
  Slot: Slot-1
  PCIe Lane Width:  x16
  VRAM (Total): 512 MB
  Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
  Device ID:  0x10d8
  Revision ID:  0x00a2
  ROM Revision: 70.18.9F.00.0C

- LuxMark gave me 117

- Cinebench gave me 4.60

- kextstat shows the following modules:

   95    2 0xffffff7f8102c000 0x274000   0x274000   com.apple.nvidia.classic.NVDAResmanTesla (10.0.0) <78 77 12 5 4 3 1>
   96    0 0xffffff7f81cab000 0xce000    0xce000    com.apple.GeForceTesla (10.0.0) <95 78 77 12 7 6 5 4 3 1>
   97    0 0xffffff7f812a0000 0x2cf000   0x2cf000   com.apple.nvidia.classic.NVDANV50HalTesla (10.0.0) <95 12 4 3>

I am looking on some direction. Any help really appreciated!

Thanks
