Does anyone make this work on their hdmi audio enabled hackintosh? OSX does not support this natively because of the osx driver this is according to other sources in the internet. I am hoping someone here has a workaround for it.

I have tried various configurations and drivers but i just get DTS or DD on my receiver, can get DTS-HD-MA or DD-TRUE-HD to passthrough the hdmi going to the receiver.

According to the Kodi (formerly XBMC) devs, OS X doesn't have any support for passing through HD audio formats. You can decode them as LPCM (TrueHD has an open-source decoder in Kodi; DTS-HD MA has one that was literally just integrated into ffmpeg last week) and send them over HDMI.
