Hi guys!
First, sorry for my bad english!

My system is: ASUS P5Q-VM

Intel® Core™2 DuoE8400 (6M Cache, 3.00 GHz)
4GB ram
NVIDIA Quadro 600 - 1 GB
My power supply is only 300W now, but I'll buy other soon.

I installed Yosemite successfully. I boot successfully with GraphicsEnabler=Yes -v -f
It’s only detect the half VRAM of my GPU but its OK. Everything works - I installed audio kext, my ethernet works, but I have another one big problem. Sometimes the system randomly freezes and only restart helped. In most cases it freeze when I watching video, but not only…. sometimes just freeze with no obvious reason or when I launch something. I even tried to launch many tasks to test the system but everything is ok … it freeze randomly when work for few minutes or an hour.
Sometimes freezes with this text:

I'll appreciate any help!

Thanks, I'll try it.

Btw in my case it's not fermi freeze - when system freeze, everything freeze - including the mouse cursor. If I watching video, when system freezes the sound starts looping. Only restart help.

Btw now my system still works fine for an hour and a half after last freeze and I don't know when will freeze again.

I am currently trying to fix a system with the same issue (GA-G31M-ES2L with Q9550). I have both Windows 7 and 10.10.3 installed and I'm sorry to say that I think that panic in the image above might be the result of an actual hardware failure. I have not only experienced that panic before, but I also blue screen in Windows occasionally. Running prime95 under windows will error after about 20 minutes, so that appears to confirm my suspicions.

Couple of questions for the OP, assuming you are still having issues...

Are you running with a custom DSDT? If so, can you post it here?

Do you also have Windows installed? Have you experienced any BSOD?

What custom kexts are you using?

I still haven't given up hope on my system, so if I find a cause I'll update this thread.

Unfortunately I don't have much to report here. I broke down the system and re-seated everything. Then I extracted a vanilla DSDT and re-applied all of the patches for my board and I am no longer having system freezes, nor am I getting occasional CPU panics. I also haven't seen a blue screen in Windows yet. So, who knows?
