I indected edid to my display-717 file inside s/l/displays/overrides/ And set the framebuffer to hoolock. But these settings seems not to be working on yosemite. sistoelemento Posted March 22, 2015 Author Share Posted March 22, 2015 Actually i made wifi working last time and on the fly i installed some kexts and got a kernel panic. So i reinstalled yosemite and now when i boot using the usb installer to my yosemite installation i get a kp, scereenshot is attached i used the flags when i first installed yosemite and succesfully went to welcome screen. I have already forced edid by replacing the s/l/displays/overides with my edited display-717 file. , and i know it is working because the display prefpane is showing Internal Lcd forced edid. Now the display has proper resolution but black color and it shows mouse updates and keypresses See attached.
