The Kernel panics started recently, the first days it was all good... I tried uninstalling NVIDIA drivers and also cleared the kext cache with no better result. Any idea where I should look? Thanks a lot! Arthur
styrian
Hello! The first thing to do, should be getting PM working. Activate in Clover asuspmpatch and remove nullcpupmkext from S/L/E or from anywhere else you have installed it. Reboot by ignoring caches. Have fun. styrian
Hello! I don´t know, if it is really infecting your gfx, but it is necessary for a correct working basic system. Have fun.

styrian
Hello! PM is not working, if nullcpupm.kext is loaded (See your posted log). Have fun.
tchitou
I deleted nullcpupm.kext and already had asus pm patch activated but then I couldn't shutdown (black screen, computer not shutting down). I saw a thread about my motherboard working only with nullcpupm so I installed it back because I never had any issue with power and sleep. Actually I tried with the web drivers and npci=0x2000 and the result is the same: booting after 4-5 kernel panics. At the beggining I wasn't getting KP with the Default drivers that's why I thought the Web drivers were the problem. I'm stuck
tchitou
OK guys, I solved the problem!!Actually my monitor was connected in VGA. Oliveyang had the same exact problem and told me that switching to DVI had solved the issue. I just bought a DVI to DVI cable and no kernel panics anymore!!! Since I switched to DVI I didn't get a single kernel panic.

If the problem is exactly the same, did you try using HDMI? Since I changed my monitor, I switched to HDMI and everything is ok.
