jmayr2000 Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 I need help with an install on my MSI 970 Gaming MB with AMD FX 8320 8GIGs Ram, 1TB HD, AMD R9270x GPU. My issue is Windows 8 is installed on the Primary Drive. whenever the boot loader starts and I select the Yosemite installer created on Pandora Box Candidate 3 a Black Background with a Apple Logo appears and then is reboots instead of loading into the setup screen. then it just loads back into the boot loader. I'm using the Clover UFI boot loader as all my droves are GUID for Windows 8.1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to replace the kernel because it's an AMD processor and I think 10.10.2 kernel for AMD is still missing, so installing 10.10 probably will be the best choice.
