hitman478
Hello, I am trying to disable my Nvidia GT 540M but it won't work. I have a DSDT where the disabling works but in this DSDT are al my further modifications missing. In my modificated DSDT where I did all my changes that everything is running this disable of the graphic card won't work anymore. The DSDT with the filename dsdt_work.aml there is the disabling working but the other modifications are missing. The DSDT with the filename DSDT.aml there all my changes but the disable don't work. Can someone help me with this? I will also attach the DSDT and the SSDTs. Thanks for the help. DSDT_SSDT.zip

hitman478
If I make the change to SSDT-1.aml then I get these errors when I compile I also get the errors in my original SSDT-1.mal. hitman478
Thanks for the DSDT but the card is still enabled. In bdmesg I found this line maybe this cause that the Nvidia not get disabled Table: SSDT NvOptTbl 2838 dropped
WaldMeister
Does your boot loader drop the OEM SSDT's? If not, you should enable that option.

WaldMeister
Any SSDT files in the ACPI folder? Remove them also for the time being. I'm running out of options :/
hitman478
I removed now all SSDTs but the card is still enabled. The card is only disabled when I made no modification to the DSDT except for the card disable. Maybe there is a bug in the DSDT that prevents to disable the Graphic Card? WaldMeister
Still had the _OFF method in the PCI0._INI. Removed it, it's only in _WAK and _REG now. Checked EC and the methods that could call something that would trigger the card, nothing there as far as i can see. DSDT.zip
hitman478
This DSDT also don't work. Maybe it is better to recreate the hole DSDT from scratch.
