ZoroLives
I recently aquired a Kensington Expert Mouse, the one with the large center trackball. I always wanted one, this one was a gift so of course I said, thank you. But, It is a PS/2 device. No one sells the PS/2-USB adaptors anymore (locally). Before I pay more for shipping than the part is worth, has anyone had success getting a trackball or any mouse device working through your hackintosh PS/2 port? I searched and found an old thread where someone had hacked PS/2 for keyboards only, but that aparently was flawed and not touched since 2010. I did install that driver (ApplePS2Controller.kext) but It seems to not be doign anything with my trackball. Installed It in the extras folder, not clear on extras vs system/Library/extensions ... Would realy love to start using this trackball. Product: Kensington Make: Expert Mouse Model: #64215 Version: Version 5 http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-5-0-Expert-Button-Mouse/dp/B00000K4LD Much thanks.
