Hello

Just found out that apple released the 10.10.3 public beta and I would like to ask if it's possible to update to this beta on my computer ? Is it straight forward update or I need to reinstall the Yosemite from the start to make it work?

Thanks

Ok tried to do it but after installation and restart I get to the apple logo and the filling bar and the pc boots it self over and over...

I have the gigabyte GA-H87M- HD3 motherboard and everything worked great before the update (Clover way)

I'm booting with -v flag and this is what I get before the system restart :

Just tried to boot in safe mood option and the system load up.....this is strange ...I'm afraid to turn the pc off....

Which graphics card you are using?

and which is your boot loader?

First of all I want to tell you tanks a lot Jithin Chandran for all your help in any post I've made. I think I messed up all my installation and I will start from the beginning. I actually wanted to deleted my fusion drive I've made prior to my current installation beacuse I prefer to have the osx installed only on a single SSD. Again Thabks for all your help and if I will have problems in my new installation I will post new thread and u hope you can continue helping me

Maybe you just have an advise on my new installation? I will do it with clover I think

But first I need to figure out how do I delete the fusion drive without my osx....

Can I use the clover USB do get into terminal and do it?

CLOVER will be a good choice for UEFI/Legacy BIOS systems. It will be good if you are updating your hardware details in your Signature because without knowing your hardware details no one can suggest any solutions for issues.

Fusion drive you can delete through Installer Terminal. (Deleting the Fusion drive will cause all data associated with the drive, including any Recovery HD partition that may be hidden, to be lost. Be sure to back up your data before proceeding.)

1. Note the Logical Volume Group UUID & Logical Volume UUID with the command

diskutil cs list

2. Run the command

diskutil cs deleteVolume <Logical Volume UUID>

3. Run the command

diskutil cs delete  <Logical Volume Group UUID>

Ok I'm happy to tell that I've installed from the start Yosemite on my SSD and also updated to 10.10.3 and everything is working great!!!!

Now I will go into the second phase and will try to install windows 10 preview on my other SSD. I have couple of questions if it's ok :

1. First I will make the windows 10 install disk. I've downloaded the ISO image from Microsoft website and I will burn it on a DVD using the Disk Utility tool. Will this will work fine and boot?

2. As I understand I need to disconnect the SSD with the OS X and only leave the new SSD I want to install on it the windows 10.

3. Also is there anything I need to do after the install complete? After I will connect the both SSD will the Clover boot will show and will let me choose what OS I want? Is it out of the box?

4. I will update my hardware on my signature but I will also mention that I have intel i5 with gigabyte GA-m87h-hd3

Many thanks

still works

HD audio

facetime, imsg , mic work with face time and call voice only.

touch screen still works

all F keys

replace the wifi with Broadcom BCM94322HM8L WIFI Wireless Card still works.

censors ,battery , temps

trackpad

HDMI video , no audio , even on 10.10.2 same issue.

The problem with some laptop with 10.10.3 public beta may be the intel hd kexts, on final beta this may be resolve =)

i5 3rd gen with intel HD 4000

1. That's Fine

2. Yes. Only connect the SSD in which you are installing Windows.

3. Is your system capable for UEFI boot mode? Once you installed windows connect both SSDs then try boot windows through CLOVER.

4. If the details are in your signature it will reflect in all of your posts. So other's can avoid the scroll back to first posts.

Good Luck..!
