Hello, Insanelymac I'm wondering if there is a driver for the GMA 3100 for yosemite or if there is a way to "enable it" with clover, My old hackintosh broke, so I'm stuck with a older motherboard and windows 8.1(sigh)

Sorry if this is in the wrong category, can't seem to be able to post anywhere else.

- Thanks Gigasea

The information in that link is about the X3100. GMA 3100 and GMA X3100 are not the same thing!

About the X3100, found in Santa Rosa platform laptops:

The X3100 works natively (with a little help) up until 10.7.5 because it only had 32-bit drivers. Mountain Lion and up are 64-bit-only OS.

It did have 64-bit support at one point but Apple dropped it, I think, in 10.6.2. From what I've read, the 64-bit drivers are buggy.

They can be used on later versions of OS X with varying results.

I don't know anything about the non-x GMA 3100 except that it's inferior to the X3100 and only used on desktop boards.
