d1ch0t0my
Hi Guys, Mobo: Z97-SLI Proc: i5-4960k Clover version: r3185 Kexts: NullCPU & FakeSMC only DSDT - None SSDT - None So I decided to upgrade my hack and forgot how arduos such a task can be but, with a little help, I hope to prevail . I'm using the latest Clover with a vanilla configuration and keep getting stuck where the installer flips to graphics mode and is about to install, I'm left with the spinning wheel of death and no movement on the install progress bar (have left it for 2 hours once). I've tried all sorts of combinations of boot flags but I'm left stuck every time at the same place. I got so fed up with it that I popped in my Gcard from my exisiting hack (GT610) to see if that got past the install but no dice and no difference. I cannot use -x because it panics about 5s into the install process which is strange as it flys past if just -v is used. I've noticed some people on the board have the same mobo and similar procs so if anyone could advise me on the boot flags they are using with this board I would be very grateful. Thank you! Rampage Dev
Simple and clean build. Please look and use my install method in my Sig. If using the Onboard Graphics please use the kexts and Clover Config found on the Haswell DMG, that you will use for post install, on the Install USB. d1ch0t0my
You're a legend Andrew, working perfectly. One question should I customise the SSDT from your Haswell.dmg to better suit my individual setup as not using external graphics and your SSDT's are compiled for either NVidia or AMD support arent they. Thanks again.
Rampage Dev
No. Either SSDT will work for onboard. The difference between the two SSDT's is the edit for HDMI audio.
