WillWills' Hackintosh Guide

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What You Need:

USB stick

A computer that you are able to use, preferably with OS X installed

Internet connection

How to fix Hackintosh locked via iCloud website

Step 1. Backup Data (Optional)

So, first we need to backup our data, to do this, we need access to our system that we are locked out of, this is a temporary fix and may or may not work for you but here is how you do it:

  1. Boot Into Your Bootloader
  2. Boot Using The Boot Flags -s and -v
  3. When You Get To Bash, type "nvram -c" without quotation marks
  4. Now Type "exit" Without Quotation Marks And You Should Be Able To Access Your Old Files

Step 2. The Fix

This is the easy part, all you need to do is download the latest version of your BIOS and flash it (make sure it erases and resets everything)

now you will either have access to your hard drive or you will have to do a clean install of OS X

Why can't you just log back in with your apple ID/ PIN code when you have locked your device yourself?

Or is that for when you have found/stolen an computer with an iCloud lock like with iOS devices?

when you lock your hackintosh with find my iPhone app it asks you to generate 4 digit Pin code but the hack will ask for 6 digit system pin code

oh wow, that would be a big fail from apple and should be fixed. Maybe try to tell Apple (emails, calls, write in apple support forums)

i called apple and we ended up with i have to take the iMac (hackintosh ) to apple store which is no way to happen

but i think this is the only method to solve it http://www.ernieflores.net/osx-page-5/recovering-a-lost-firmware-password/ but won't work in hackintosh
