atomicmidi Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Hi guys, Just registered and passed the test.. by the way Bill Gates never said "640k ought to be enough for everyone.." Anyhow, reached a dead end here with my setup. My system: z77-ds3h ver: 1.1 latest bios Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz ATI Radeon HD5450 8GB corsair ram Asus MX299Q monitor 21:9 2560x1080 Mavericks installation went through but cannot get the graphics card to work. I edited both relevant Kexts, booting with all the flags people are mentioning, nothing. Monitor is connected via DVI dual link.. Needless to say, sorting graphics would be the first thing I would need to do. I also lack WIFI but then again I'm not sure my mobo has one or I need to purchase one seperately, not even worried about that though. Any help would be much appreciated thoughts? atomicmidi Posted February 14, 2015 Author Share Posted February 14, 2015 Micky, I have been so desperate to install this I totally forgot about the rules, Yes I noticed them but didn't realize that some of what I was using were tony macs.. sorry about that. However I would still like to finish what I started and if you are saying I cannot use TM tools then what DO I use? I am only becoming acquainted with the Mac OS and it will take some time so be patient with me.. I managed to get 10.9.1 and will try to install this today. I'm getting really frustrated because I know this mobo I have is well suited for HT and yet I'm having absolutely no luck with it.. sad times.
