sualpine Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Hi all, after I installed 10.10.3, I discovered to my horror that the new Photos app, which I want to use to upload tons of gigs worth of photos and videos with, utilizes OpenCL. Unfortunately, the OpenCL NVIDIA issue where the clocks max out and stay at 100 percent, has not been resolved. The only thing I can think of is to boot with CPU-only OpenCL. I know this has been done in the past with hex-editing, but no one has posted any Yosemite OpenCL modifications that I can find. Is anyone able to help?
