webbhelp
Hi! I am trying to install Yosemite on my windows PC. I used the latest Chamelon (yosemite) and created the bootloader with a yosemite installation from app store. I got kernel error I think, and: "Found a transaction past the completion deadline on..." My computer: Intel core i7 950, 3.07 GHz 6 Gb memory/ram Nvidia geforce GTX 580 SSD Can you please help me! Kernel may panic about this, but I panic more! Thanks

webbhelp
Hi! I appreciate your reply. What I know, I have Not installed FakesMC. At least not by purpose. Should I follow your instructions even if I haven't installed fakesmc? Thanks

Jithin Chandran
Why you are using this much of bootflags?? Boot only with "-v" and post the photo if you are getting kernel panic. Are you using your Installer USB/any other device with USB3.0 Port??
xorg
As Jithin said, this may be a problem with USB 3.0 port. Try plugging your USB flash drive in USB 2.0 port and it should boot fine. FakeSMC.kext is very very important file. Download the latest version of the following files: NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and FakeSMC.kext Copy them to /System/Library/Extensions on your pen drive to avoid general kernel panics. Boot with -v -f
webbhelp
Hi everyone! I really appreciate your help. Probably the problem was fakeSMC.kext that was the problem. I actually bought a mac instead. I was to unpatient and frustrated about this problem without getting any closer a solution so I ... was too weak and bought a mac. Still I want to thank you for trying to help me, but right now I don't need it, sorry :/ Thanks, and have a really good life!
xorg
Ok. Good. I was too feeling like you when I started to build my first Hackintosh. But I kept on trying and after 3 sleepless nights I finally have it working on my Lenovo G570 notebook with full acceleration. I have installed FCP X, XCode, Logic Pro.... All are working! The journey was great and now I have got addicted to building hackintosh on my notebooks and PCs of my friends!!! Next I will try it on my AMD PC. Jithin Chandran
Good...!! But one thing is here, most of the non apple desktops and laptops are designed/designing to work with Windows. We are trying to make this work with OS X. So it will take some time to get successful on installation. Anyway Good Luck...!
