pharry Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Hello all! I've installed Yosemite on my Acer M3970-EB30P- all is fine, except for sound. I used [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to install and [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to install drivers. My M3970 has the ALC662 codec. I've tried many different kexts and they simply don't work on my system. Also reported by others with the same mobo. Acer manufactures their own mobos- the mobo is in fact the M3970.
